Location
Windhaven Gliders is located thirty minutes north of Santa Barbara, California in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley . The mainstay of our business is Scenic Glider Rides which we provide to the general public. We also have an excellent Flight School and provide Aerotows for privately owned aircraft.

The Santa Ynez Valley is one of the most picturesque gliding areas in the country. We are surrounded by mountainous national forests, beautiful Lake Cachuma and the valley itself is dotted with vineyards and world class horse facilities. For specific directions, go to our MAP page.

Hours of Operation
Scenic flights and Aerotows are available Wed-Sun from 10:00 until 5:00.
Gift Certificates and Merchandise can be ordered 24 hours a day over the phone, by mail, or in person at the gliderport 10-5:00
Days of operation are of course weather dependent

Who Can Fly? Just about anyone...
All our flights carry one passenger with our certified pilot. There are no age restrictions, however people over about 6' 4" or over 250lbs. (dependent on pilot's weight) may not be able to fit in the glider. We have also had much success taking people that use wheelchairs. Any questions (805) 688-2517.
